Doing an entertainment lighting production is a genuinely creative process. As designers, when you have a very interesting lighting idea in mind, probably the next step for you is to look for lights that perfectly fit. Some other time, you are inspired by a certain lighting fixture and thus create something beautiful by its nature or by customization. This interactivity between lighting design and light itself is going two-way. A good lighting fixture inspires you, and your creativity also sparks more innovative lighting concepts. Customizing a lighting fixture sometimes can be very simple. Just a little transformation will do. Take DMX vertical tubes for example. It is designed with double sided LEDs to give it 360 degrees visibility when you hang the lights. The lead cable comes out of one tube end only.
To take the advantage of its 360 visibility, some clients customize it with lead cables coming out of both ends to daisy chain the lights instead of suspending them. This slight transformation turns V-tube into a fixture you can daisy-chain or use for more interesting form factor while still having two-sides visible LEDs, one more edge over others with only side LEDs.

The strong points of V-tube, 360 visibility, is combined with X-bar’s capability to make interesting configuration. The new hybrid is lighter than aluminum profile and allows for hanging installation under certain condition. It adds excitement and sensation to 3D models with two-side LEDs visible.
